The Project comprises the design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and operation of the Abu Rawash Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) with a capacity of 1.6 million m³/day after secondary treatment, serving a major share of Greater Cairo. The plant is equipped with two medium-voltage generators (3.3 kV, 2.2 MVA), one low-voltage generator (380 V, 1 MVA), and step-down transformers of 4500 kVA, 1600 kVA, and 1000 kVA ratings. Sludge treatment facilities will handle existing inflows of secondary and primary sludge totaling 224,000 kg/day, with an additional 760,000 kg/day expected after the planned extension. Main Equipment: Generators (MV/LV), Step-down Transformers (4500, 1600, 1000 kVA), Sludge Treatment Units.

The Project comprises the development, design with detailed engineering, procurement, manufacture, construction, commissioning as well as operation and maintenance of the Lichterfelde Combined Heat & Power Plant with a capacity of around 300MW of electricity and 230MW of heat, which will be sufficient energy for approximately 100,000 Lichterfelde homes.The cogeneration plant is expected to operate at a fuel efficiency rate of 85% and will offset 100,000t of CO² emissions per day.
